Today We Are 50 Days Smarter

Today marked the 50th day of school at Glendale. We celebrated by writing 50 words we knew. Students spent the morning looking through books they've already read and picked out words they could read on their own without help. Then students recorded the 50 words they read. Look for the 50 words in your child's Friday folder. In math, we compared what life was like in 1950 and how it is both similar and different from today. Students also compared prices of common goods and services from then to now.
