Morning Meeting Activity - Too Close for Comfort (Photo Slideshow)

Students were presented with 6 hula hoops. Their goal was to try to stand in as few hula hoops as possible. Students were able to cram into 2 hula hoops by the end of the activity. Throughout the activity, students shared strategies to be able to fit more and more students into one hula hoop. Great teamwork by all.

We concluded by talking about how we were able to do this activity because we trust one another after spending 8 months together. We also talked about personal space. Some students shared they loved being close to one another while other students shared they preferred to be on the edges of the circle so they could have more space.
