Recycle Your Holiday Lights

Junior Naturalists at Glendale  have partnered with Recycling Association of Minnesota to participate in their annual program: Recycle Your Holiday Lights. You can drop off the following items at Glendale to be recycled: holiday lights, electrical cords, telephone and appliance cords. Thank you for helping to make our world more green during this bright season!

Also, as this year’s electronics get replaced with the newer version over the holidays, you can help Glendale make these updates into CASH! Please donate your old cell phones, iPods, digital cameras, GPS devices and ink cartridges by placing them in the collection bin found outside the Glendale office whenever it’s convenient for you.  We are a part of the Global Re-Source Funding recycling program, a FREE program that provides convenient locations for collecting toner/laser cartridges, iPods, laptops, inkjet cartridges, digital cameras, GPS devices and used cell phones while raising funds for our school. Periodically, we will ship the items collected to the Global Re-Source Funding offices, at no cost to us. Global Re-Source Funding will then issue us checks monthly for those items sent in!!!  This program will not be successful without the support of the community and people like you.   Thank you for your help in recycling!
