February Reading Challenge Calendar Now Available

The February reading challenge calendar is set up a little differently than previous months. February is I Love to Read Month. We are encouraging students to read a variety of different types of books during the month. Students can either complete option #1 Bingo (20/25 boxes) or option #2 (23/28 boxes) 20+ minutes each evening. I am asking students to choose 1 option and set a goal. Students who completed the assigned goals (20/25 or 23/28) will be invited to school on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at 8:30am for breakfast in the classroom before school. Calendars are due no later than Tuesday, March 5. Parents must sign the calendar. Parents have asked to support reading challenge rewards in past months. If you would like to send in cash donations in an envelope, you are welcome to. I will be serving pancakes, cereal, orange juice, milk and donut holes. This is a special reading challenge month. In past years, this has been one of the favorite reading challenges.
