Savage Police Officer Luskey Helps Us with Our Math Lesson Today

Savage Police Officer Luskey came to Glendale today to help us with a special 1st grade math lesson. Unit 2 highlights important student information: name, phone number, number to call in case of an emergency etc. Today, Officer Luskey came in and talked to us about the importance of knowing your phone number and knowing when to call 911 in the event of an emergency. Students then practiced writing their number, first, middle and last name and 911. Students will continue to practice writing their name, phone numbers and address as part of handwriting and math for the next few weeks. Ask your child if he/she knows their phone number or address.
